Epiphany School ~Family Character Connection~ May
Morality:  To be moral means to have the ability to distinguish good and evil and wrong. A moral person is motivated by the desire to do the right thing.   Ways to develop this virtue include being able to practice self-control, having courage, having confidence, being self-sufficient, trying new and maybe difficult things, being brave, having tenacity and audacity and being enterprising.
Discussion***Can you think of a time when the going got tough and you didn’t give up? What obstacles did you overcome?
Morality is a virtue that is needed in society today. We need moral men and women to speak up about the value and importance of life. We need to be in leadership positions in order to be able to drown evil out with an abundance of good.

May—Family Prayer for Morality
Saint Francis Prayer
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; it is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.
